Pakistan, May 20 -- DHAKA - Starlink, the satellite internet service by SpaceX, officially launched in Bangladesh on May 20, bringing high-speed connectivity to areas with limited broadband access. The service is expected to improve internet quality for both residential users and businesses.

The announcement came through Starlink's official X (formerly Twitter) account. Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, special assistant to the chief adviser, confirmed that Starlink will begin with two internet packages: "Residence" for Tk6,000 per month and "Residence Lite" for Tk4,200. A one-time installation fee of Tk47,000 is also required.
