Pakistan, July 20 -- ISLAMABAD - A tragic accident in Islamabad claimed three lives on Sunday when a speeding vehicle struck two women crossing the road, killing them on the spot. The driver of the vehicle also died in the crash, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

The deadly incident occurred due to over-speeding and driver negligence, as confirmed by the emergency services. Witnesses said the car was moving at a dangerously high speed before it veered off and hit the pedestrians in a split second.

Soon after the incident was reported, a Rescue 1122 team arrived at the scene and transported the deceased to a nearby hospital for autopsy. Authorities said identification of the victims is underway, and their families have been informed. ...
