QUETTA, Jan. 28 -- Six proclaimed offenders affiliated with the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) - referred to locally as Fitna al Khawarij - were killed during an operation in Pishin, the Balochistan Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said on Tuesday.

DIG Aitzaz Ahmed Goraya, head of the CTD, said the operation began at around 7am on Monday and concluded at 4:30pm. Authorities are continuing searches to apprehend accomplices who escaped during the operation.
