Pakistan, July 25 -- Sindh Police Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Nabi Memon said the police are prioritizing targeting major drug dealers and suppliers to break their supply chains. The IG explained that officers have been tasked with arresting key criminals involved in drug trafficking.

Out of 137 high-profile suspects, 37 have already been arrested in connection with drug crimes. The IG stressed that effective intelligence gathering and improved border mechanisms are essential to stop drug smuggling in the province.
