Pakistan, June 25 -- The Sindh Assembly on Tuesday passed the supplementary budget for the outgoing year 2024-25. The assembly members discussed expenditures charged to the provincial consolidation fund and

reviewed and voted on demands for grants on supplementary statements for the year 2024-25.

There were a total of 84 demands against which the opposition moved 735 cut motions, supplementary

budget, which were rejected with a majority vote. Most of the cut motions were lumped together and

rejected.

The assembly passed a supplementary budget of Rs 156.069 billion for 2024-25.

Earlier, the session started with recitation from the Holy Quran and Naat Sharif.
