Pakistan, June 25 -- The Sindh Home Department has officially imposed Section 144 across the province from 1st to 10th Muharram to ensure public safety and religious harmony. This decision comes ahead of the sensitive month of Muharram, when large religious gatherings and processions take place. A formal notification has been issued by the department to enforce the restrictions.
Under the imposed Section 144, all types of public gatherings, rallies, and processions will require prior permission from authorities. Carrying of licensed or unlicensed weapons, including display of arms, is strictly banned. The use of drones, heli-cams, and loudspeakers without official clearance has also been prohibited.
