KARACHI, Jan. 23 -- The Sindh government has decided to reconstruct the fire-hit Gul Plaza in Karachi. The project will be funded through the provincial budget. Authorities aim to complete the new multi-storey building within one year.
Officials said the decision was taken to support affected traders and restore commercial activity quickly. Therefore, the government will oversee construction and ensure modern safety standards. Experts in architecture and construction have already been engaged for the project.
