Pakistan, July 1 -- On the directives of Sindh Agriculture Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr, the Sindh government has taken reformatory action in the Agriculture Department. Secretary Agriculture Sohail Ahmed Qureshi conducted surprise visits to various district agricultural offices across the province, resulting in the suspension of 28 officers and employees over absenteeism, mismanagement, and poor performance. According to a spokesperson for the Agriculture Department, the suspended officials include four deputy directors from Hyderabad, Thatta, and Tando Allahyar, along with field assistants, junior clerks, sub-engineers, water management officers, assistant directors, and others.
