Pakistan, July 25 -- The Sindh government has completely removed parking fees on all Karachi city roads. According to an official notification, charging parking fees on city streets is now banned. Only plazas, private plots, or specific council-designated areas can collect parking fees. This decision aims to ease the financial burden on citizens and promote fair parking practices.

Previously, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) had already canceled parking fees on 32 major roads. The new government notification extends this ban across the entire city. Authorities will take strict action against anyone who collects illegal parking fees from drivers. This move strengthens enforcement and protects commuters from harassment.
