Pakistan, July 7 -- The Sindh government has officially notified an increase in the minimum monthly wage to Rs. 40,000 for unskilled workers, effective from July 1, 2025. This change was announced by the Sindh Minimum Wage Board, aiming to improve the livelihoods of millions of laborers across the province.
According to the notification, semi-skilled workers will now receive Rs. 41,280 per month, skilled workers Rs. 48,910, and highly skilled workers Rs. 50,868. The decision covers workers employed in both registered and unregistered sectors, ensuring widespread impact.
