Pakistan, March 13 -- The Sindh Environmental Protection (SEPA) has intensified its efforts to address worsening air quality in Karachi, which poses serious public health risks. Acting under the Sindh Environmental Protection Act, 2014, SEPA is committed to environmental protection, pollution control, and sustainable development. In response to rising levels of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) caused by construction activities, infrastructure development, and loss of green cover, SEPA's Director General, Mr. Naeem Ahmed Mughal, convened a high-level meeting with senior officers and officials of the Karachi Region.
