Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Monday warned of severe flooding at Head Trimmu and said it will take approximately two days for floodwater to reach the Guddu Barrage. Authorities are on high alert.

CM Shah estimated that between 800,000 to 1,100,000 cusecs of water could enter Sindh. He stressed the importance of protecting people, their homes, and livestock, while coordinating assistance from the Pakistan Army and Navy.

He highlighted that the period from September 4 to 6 will be critical for flood management. The Sindh government has prepared emergency plans to handle these extreme water flows and ensure public safety.
