Pakistan, June 14 -- The Sindh government has allocated Rs613.36 billion for education in the 2025-26 budget. This is an 18% increase from last year's Rs519 billion. The budget covers all education levels, from primary to university, and includes both development and non-development expenses.

A major portion, Rs524.32 billion, will go toward non-development spending, like salaries and school operations. Meanwhile, Rs89.04 billion is reserved for development projects. The government also announced Rs3.2 billion for paying exam and registration fees for students in grades 9 to 12. High-performing students will also receive rewards.
