Pakistan, Feb. 5 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan's firm stance on the Kashmir issue, warning that the country would respond to India in the same manner if provoked, while stressing continued support for Kashmiri people.

Addressing the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad, he paid tribute to Kashmiri leaders and martyrs, saying their sacrifices reflected an unbreakable commitment to freedom and self-determination.

He stated that a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute was only possible in line with the wishes of Kashmiris and United Nations resolutions, adding that Pakistan would continue moral, political, and diplomatic efforts globally.
