Pakistan, Jan. 9 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that Ramadan aid will again be distributed through digital wallets this year. The decision focuses on transparency and faster delivery to deserving families. The directive was issued during a review meeting in Islamabad.

The prime minister reviewed the Ramadan Package and asked for recommendations to improve its effectiveness. He emphasized fair distribution and strong monitoring mechanisms. He also instructed officials to address issues faced by low-income households.

Last year, the government distributed Rs20 billion through digital wallets. Around four million families received Rs5,000 each under the program. This system helped reduce delays and improved efficiency.
