ISLAMABAD, Jan. 27 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Myanmar's Foreign Minister Than Swe to strengthen bilateral relations. Both leaders agreed to enhance trade, education, and cultural cooperation. They also highlighted collaboration on human smuggling and ASEAN engagement, stressing mutual benefits for both countries.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif welcomed the visiting minister and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to boosting economic partnerships. He emphasized joint initiatives in capacity building, people-to-people exchanges, and regional stability. The leaders discussed practical steps to expand trade volumes and share expertise in education and cultural programs.
