Pakistan, June 19 -- Pakistan's star fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has officially joined Brisbane Heat as the top overseas Platinum pick in the BBL 15 Draft. The draft took place in Melbourne on Thursday. Six out of eight BBL franchises showed serious interest in Pakistani players, a sign of their growing value in global leagues.

Shaheen will play the entire season, including the finals. In a video message, he shared his excitement and called bowling at the Gabba a special feeling.
