ISLAMABAD, Oct. 3 -- Security forces killed seven terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan's Sherani district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

According to the statement, the operation was carried out on October 1 after reports of the presence of terrorists linked to Fitna al Khawarij - a term used by the state for members of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

"During the conduct of the operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists' location, and after an intense exchange of fire, seven Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell," the ISPR said.
