Pakistan, July 31 -- Independent candidate Saima Khalid managed to get only one vote in the ongoing Senate elections, according to the latest unofficial and non-government results shared on local media. In addition to this, two votes cast in her favor were declared invalid, further weakening her already minimal support base. This result came as a disappointment to her small group of supporters who had hoped for a better performance.

The voting process was carried out under strict rules inside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, with multiple candidates contesting for limited Senate seats.
