Pakistan, June 27 -- Commissioner Sukkur Division, Fayaz Hussain Abbasi on Thursday has imposed Section 144 in Sukkur and Rohri cities, prohibiting the movement of livestock on roads and entry into canals (Rice Canal and Dadu Canal) for 90 days, effective July 15, 2025. The ban also includes parking of fruit, vegetable, and fish carts near City Point in Rohri Municipal Committee limits towards the Indus River. This recommendation was made by Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, Dr. M.B. Raja Dharijo, in a meeting chaired by District and Sessions Judge Sukkur.
