Pakistan, Oct. 20 -- Saudi Arabia has welcomed the recent ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan following days of deadly border clashes. In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), the Saudi Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its support for efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. The ceasefire was brokered in Doha with mediation from Qatar and Turkiye. A follow-up meeting between both countries is scheduled for October 25 in Istanbul.
