Pakistan, July 24 -- Pakistani actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has strongly criticized local TV dramas for showing abuse and forced relationships as romantic stories. In her recent Instagram story, she pointed out how these shows wrongly present serious issues just to gain higher ratings.
She questioned whether women in real Pakistani households actually wear sarees and heavy makeup every day, as commonly shown in dramas. According to her, these visuals are far from reality and create a false image of everyday life in Pakistan, especially for the lower and middle class.
