Pakistan, Oct. 18 -- LAHORE - Senior Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday said that the upcoming Pakistan-Afghanistan talks in Doha carry immense importance for regional peace and stability.

Commenting on recent tensions between the two neighbors, Rafique emphasized that Islamabad and Kabul must establish clear, permanent rules of coexistence, grounded in mutual respect and the understanding that "geography cannot be changed."

He noted that despite historical ups and downs in bilateral relations, the people of both countries share deep cultural, linguistic, and religious ties, which should serve as a foundation for lasting peace.
