Pakistan, July 28 -- A Russian airstrike on Kyiv early Monday injured eight people, including a three-year-old child, Ukrainian officials said. The attack struck a residential building in the Darnytskyi district shortly after midnight. Four people were taken to the hospital, with one in serious condition. The blast damaged windows on the upper floors of the building.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that all the victims lived in the multi-storey apartment complex. He said the explosion shattered windows between the 6th and 11th floors. Authorities shared updates on Telegram as emergency teams responded to the scene. This attack is part of a growing number of night strikes on the Ukrainian capital.
