Russia launched one of its heaviest barrages on Ukraine since the war began, striking Kyiv and several regions overnight with hundreds of drones and missiles. The assault, which lasted more than 12 hours, killed at least four people, including a child, and injured nearly 80. Ukraine's military said air defences intercepted 568 drones and 43 missiles out of the 595 drones and 48 missiles fired, with the capital Kyiv being the primary target.
