Pakistan, Oct. 13 -- Russia strongly objects to the United States supplying Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov called the move a serious escalation. He said it dramatically raises tensions between the countries. Peskov warned that this supply could destabilize the ongoing conflict. The Tomahawk missile is a long-range weapon used by the US in past wars.

Peskov reminded that the US used Tomahawk missiles in the Gulf War against Iraq. Recently, the missiles were also used against Houthi rebels in Yemen.
