Lahore, Sept. 10 -- Germany condemned a recent Russian drone violation of Polish airspace, calling it a "very serious" incident and warning that Moscow appears to be testing NATO's resolve and readiness in the region.

Government spokesman Sebastian Hille stated the drone intrusion highlights the ongoing threat Germany and its NATO allies face, emphasizing that Russia continues to challenge the alliance's security and test its response capabilities.

Defence Minister Boris Pistorius told parliament that the drones were deliberately directed toward Poland and did not need to follow this route to reach Ukraine, ruling out any accidental deviation from their course.
