Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- The Pakistani Rupee showed a slight improvement against the US Dollar on Monday, gaining 6 paisa in interbank trading. The currency closed at Rs 282.65, compared to the previous day's rate of Rs 282.71. This marginal appreciation reflects ongoing efforts to maintain currency stability amid fluctuating global trends.

In contrast, the open market presented a different picture, with the dollar's buying and selling rates standing at Rs 284.8 and Rs 285.3 respectively. While the interbank market showed modest gains, the open market continued to trade the dollar at a higher rate, highlighting the gap between the two segments.
