Pakistan, July 16 -- Three Kenyan soldiers lost their lives after their patrol vehicle struck an improvised explosive device (IED) near the Somali border, the military confirmed on Tuesday. The incident occurred on the road between Sankuri and Kiunga, a coastal town just 12 kilometers from Somalia. The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) described the fallen troops as "gallant soldiers" who paid the ultimate price in service.
