Pakistan, July 24 -- ISLAMABAD - Rescue teams have recovered the body of retired Colonel Ishaq Qazi, who was swept away in a flash flood in a private housing society in Islamabad. His daughter, who was with him at the time, remains missing, and search operations have entered their third day.
The tragic incident occurred after heavy rainfall hit the capital, forcing Colonel Ishaq to leave his home with his daughter. Their car reportedly broke down mid-route, after which a powerful current dragged the vehicle into a nearby drainage channel, carrying both passengers away.
