Pakistan, July 28 -- Heavy rains continue to hammer Beijing and nearby provinces, forcing authorities to evacuate over 4,400 people from disaster-prone areas. The downpour triggered flash floods and landslides in suburban Miyun, where rising water levels submerged homes and vehicles, according to Chinese state media.
In several parts of Miyun, roads turned into rivers, with strong currents sweeping away trucks and cars. Power cuts affected over 10,000 residents, while emergency workers rushed to rescue stranded villagers and relocate them to temporary shelters like schools.
