Pakistan, July 17 -- Heavy rainfall has battered Chakwal and surrounding areas, causing the roof of a house to collapse and killing two people, including a child. The downpour reached a record-breaking 423 millimeters, prompting urgent rescue efforts across the region.

Flood emergencies were declared in Chakwal, Kallar Kahar, and Choasidan Shah due to rising water levels. Many low-lying areas have been submerged, forcing authorities to carry out evacuations and provide emergency assistance to affected residents.
