Pakistan, June 18 -- After a prolonged heatwave, at last there was something for the people of Punjab and Sindh to cheer about as different parts of the provinces received light to moderate rainfall during the last 24 hours.
Different parts of Lahore received drizzle late Monday night, while the cool breeze and cloudy weather resulted in a drop in temperatures, ridding the people of extreme heat that had made their lives miserable. The Met Office, on the other hand, predicted rain for the city during the next 24 hours.
