Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- Heavy rain hit Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Friday morning, making the Rawalpindi weather chilly and creating slush in low-lying areas. The showers began around 6:30am and continued until 11am with short gaps. By afternoon, the sun returned, but the evening remained cold.

The Met Office reported 23mm of rainfall in Saidpur, 12mm at Zero Point, and smaller amounts in Golra and Bokra. In Rawalpindi, Shamsabad received 16mm while Chaklala recorded 13mm. Other city areas, including Pirwadhai, Gawalmandi, and Katcheri, also reported significant showers.
