Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- Several parts of Punjab experienced refreshing rainfall on Saturday night, which not only lowered temperatures but also turned the weather chilly and pleasant. The downpour, accompanied by strong winds, disrupted electricity in many localities, exposing weaknesses in the fragile power distribution system. Nevertheless, the rain was widely welcomed by citizens as a sign of the approaching winter season.

Rain was reported in Lahore, Muridke, Sangla Hill, Khushab, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, Sheikhupura, Kamalia, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Hafizabad, and Sargodha.
