Pakistan, Jan. 25 -- The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rain and snowfall across several regions starting today, as a new weather system moves into the country from the west.

As a result, authorities expect changing weather conditions to affect daily life, travel, and tourism activities in both plain and mountainous areas over the coming days.

According to the forecast, rain and snowfall are likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir, while Islamabad and surrounding areas may also receive showers.

Meanwhile, Murree and the Galiyat region are expected to experience snowfall, whereas parts of Punjab could see cloudy skies with intermittent rainfall.
