Pakistan, Feb. 7 -- Afghan cricketer Rahmanullah Gurbaz has officially withdrawn from Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11. He shared the announcement in a video on Instagram in Pashto, citing personal commitments as the main reason. Gurbaz emphasized that he will return to Afghanistan after the upcoming Cricket World Cup and will not participate in PSL 11 matches.
Gurbaz was signed directly by Peshawar Zalmi ahead of the player auction for PSL 11. The franchise confirmed the signing on February 5 via social media, sharing a promotional poster showing Gurbaz in traditional attire against a scenic mountain backdrop. The financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
