QUETTA, Jan. 28 -- The Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) on Tuesday called for urgent government support for traders affected by the recent fire at Haleem Plaza in Liaquat Bazaar.

Senior Vice President Haji Akhtar Kakar expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured affected shopkeepers that the chamber would stand by them during this difficult period. "The fire at Haleem Plaza has pushed many traders into severe financial distress, making immediate government intervention unavoidable," he said.
