Doha, June 24 -- Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman expressed surprise and concern over the recent Iranian missile attack on Qatar. Speaking at a joint press conference with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, he called the attack unacceptable and a violation of diplomatic norms. He said the incident was a shock to the Qatari people and strongly condemned the aggression.
The Qatari Prime Minister warned that the attack would affect relations between Qatar and Iran. However, he expressed hope that the longstanding neighborly ties between the two countries would not be damaged despite the incident.
