Pakistan, Oct. 2 -- The Punjab flood relief program will issue ATM cards to survivors across the province after verification, officials said. The cards, called "Maryam Nawaz Sharif Flood Relief ATM Cards," aim to compensate victims for losses caused by recent floods. Verification will involve PITB, PLRA, and NADRA databases.

Provincial authorities are conducting a survey of affected areas before disbursing funds. So far, teams have reached 41,735 flood victims and recorded crop losses on 49,510 acres. Damage assessments also include 12,500 homes, 603 farmers' livestock, and 2,459 cattle lost during the floods.
