Pakistan, July 29 -- The Punjab Livestock Department has launched a strict crackdown on illegal breeding practices, starting with a major raid in Lahore. Authorities recovered 931 unregistered semen doses from a well-known private semen distribution company during the operation. The raid was conducted by Dr. Mujahid, Deputy Director of Lahore City Tehsil, along with his enforcement team.
According to officials, the confiscated semen included genetic material from both local and foreign breeds. However, none of it was registered with the Livestock Breeding Services Authority (LBSA), which regulates breeding materials across Punjab.
