Pakistan, July 12 -- The Punjab government has offered to invest Rs350 billion to improve railway tracks across the province. Federal Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi shared this during a meeting with the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Pakistan Railways. He said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif wants to modernise the railway system. The plan includes track upgradation and dualisation, which would improve travel and cargo services. Committee members welcomed the offer and called it a step forward for national infrastructure.
