Pakistan, March 20 -- Punjab Minister for Local Government, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Muhammad Basharat Raja, on Tuesday, announced plans to lease out the state land occupied by 150 petrol pumps across the province through an open and transparent auction by Privatization Board Punjab to earn maximum revenue for the kitty. He said this while presiding over a meeting held to review the proposed policy framework for the disposal of leased state lands across Punjab. SMBR informed the panel about the amended policy that around 2.18 lakh acres of state land was leased out to 75000 to 80000 families for years for agriculture purpose.
