Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- LAHORE - The Punjab government has extended the ban on using wheat in poultry feed across the province under Section 144, to ensure uninterrupted supply of wheat, flour, and bread for human consumption.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Home Department, wheat will now be used exclusively in flour mills for making flour, and not for poultry feed. The decision was made amid fears of a possible wheat shortage in the province.
