Pakistan, July 21 -- The Punjab government has banned all public transport travel from Punjab to Balochistan after 5 PM. The decision follows recent security threats and violent incidents targeting passengers. Officials say the restriction is necessary to protect lives.

Deputy Commissioner of Dera Ghazi Khan, Usman Khalid, confirmed the travel ban on Monday. He said no passenger vehicles will be allowed to cross the Bawata border checkpoint after 5 PM. All vehicles will be stopped there and turned back if they arrive late.
