Pakistan, July 29 -- The Punjab government on Tuesday decided to launch a crackdown on sugar hoarders involved in creating artificial shortage of sugar in the province.
After directives from the Punjab government a separate cell has already been established at Cane Commissioner Headquarters.
It was also decided that detailed reports will be prepared against persons involved in creating an artificial shortage of sugar in the province. A virtual meeting of relevant deputy commissioners was held, which was presided over by Dr Ehsan Bhutta.
