Massive floods caused by overflowing Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej rivers have affected more than 1.5 million people across Punjab, submerging 2,038 villages, displacing thousands, and claiming at least 30 lives.
Senior minister Marriyum Aurangzeb confirmed that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is supervising relief operations, with over 481,000 people shifted to safer areas through 808 rescue boats, alongside 511 relief camps and 351 medical camps operating continuously.
