The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) across Punjab have officially announced the results for the class 9th annual examinations. In Lahore, the results were declared by Rizwan Nazir, Secretary of the Lahore Board, and Tauseef-ur-Rehman, Controller of Examinations. According to the Lahore board, a total of 308,073 students appeared for the class 9 exams. Of these, 138,894 candidates passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to 45.08. In the Science Group, a total of 235,247 candidates appeared for the exams, out of which 111,681 passed. This reflects a pass percentage of 47.47%.
