Pakistan, Jan. 20 -- Courts across Punjab have introduced mandatory NADRA-based biometric verification for all parties, marking a major step toward curbing fake litigation, fraudulent bail practices, and identity misuse within the justice system.

The initiative was launched after approval from the Lahore High Court chief justice and makes biometric authentication compulsory for petitioners, respondents, and sureties before filing any legal application.

Moreover, court officials clarified that no petition, bail request, or surety document will be entertained unless biometric verification is successfully completed through the national identity database system.
