Pakistan, Oct. 2 -- The Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a rain alert on Thursday, warning that most districts of the province could experience heavy rainfall, raising the risk of flooding in streams and nullahs.
According to PDMA officials, westerly winds have entered northern Punjab, bringing widespread rain likely to continue from Thursday night until October 7. Authorities warned residents to remain cautious and monitor updates closely.
